WHAT IS MOONSTONE?

This ring contains a rainbow moonstone which will have unique characteristics in the stone, making your stone truly unique! This may include cracks, dark spots, and scratching on the surface of the ring. We have different cuts and cut s of moonstone, however, all of these stones have one thing in common - they contain very unique characteristics and inherent flaws.

Moonstone, in its raw form, can contain large sections of black which often remain in the stone once cut and polished and cannot be removed. Moonstones can also contain cracks known as "centipedes" as they can resemble the body of centipedes. The stones can also have scratchings on the exterior of the stone and cloudy or foggy sections throughout the stone. These unique characteristics cannot be controlled and we do not offer a free stone replacement due to the aesthetic of the stones.

If you receive your ring and your moonstone appears to have cracks, there is no need to worry about the durability of the stone! We are confident the structural integrity of the stone is not compromised and as long as the ring is cared for, there will not be an issue with the stone cracking and breaking.
